They were good before that too.I feel their first LP is a British psych-pop classic, despite it being nothing more than 12 different (slightly) takes on Pictures of Matchstick Men'. It's fucking expensive, too.
I also believe 'Down Down' and 'Caroline' to be stone cold rock classics, and am the proud owner of both on 45.

I seem to remember John Peel saying how proud he was to have dropped the Carolline riff into a DJ set at Glastonburyand for it to get a massive reaction from all ages.
