I bought what I thought to be a sweet pepper plantearlier this year. I planted it, and I nutured it, and it grew a couple of lovely peppers. Yum!, thinks I, and bit in to one.
It was a cocking chilli pepper.

Ouch.Under normal circumstances I'd prefer chillis to sweet peppers, but not so much in the case "unwittingly biting into a raw one."
