Ouch!
A friend was once given a biopsy by a sleep-deprived junior doctor.
They needed a sample of his colon, so inserted the long bendy jaws-on-the-end thingy, located the suspect area and... he shot through the ceiling. Doctor had forgotten to administer any anaesthetic.
What was your ouchiest moment?

Ive had three of mine out (local) - can't see what the fuss is about. Had a dry socket on one and yeah, that one was a bit nasty, but the other two weren't that bad. I think the most painful part was the injection in the roof of my mouth - that hurt for a week afterwards.

I think it all depends
On the configuration or your jaw, and on how much physical force they have to exert (chisel ffs!).
They had to make incisions into my gums on the bottom two to even reach the teeth as they were growing at 90 degrees to the other teeth from round the corner under the surface of the gum. Consequently mine were pretty painful for a couple of weeks. Sounds like you were a little luckier than me so well done for that.
