Ouch!
A friend was once given a biopsy by a sleep-deprived junior doctor.
They needed a sample of his colon, so inserted the long bendy jaws-on-the-end thingy, located the suspect area and... he shot through the ceiling. Doctor had forgotten to administer any anaesthetic.
What was your ouchiest moment?

yeah
I couldnt fly for a few months.
The drain thing is an experience. 1st time I went in my lung had fully collapsed, so they drained it once with a syringe and a bag, then put me on a full bucket drain.
The Second time it collapsed, it was a partial collapse (which I reckon yours was) the air gap is too small so they cant drain it.
The third time, it collapsed quite bad again, full drain, then operated spent about 3-4 weeks in hospital.
Quite an ordeal, although I gave up smoking because of it. Ar eyou tall by any chance? as this makes you more prone.

look into a syndrome
called Marfans
If you have long fingers/Toes, a high rise pallet in your mouth, etc, you might need to be checked out by your doctor, as it also causes thinning of heart lining - also very dangerous.
