"Carbon footprint"
"Fair Trade" - Fuck off, they still get a shit wage, far less than they should and in a lot of cases get fucked over even worse

"Oh you're an Aquarius? Year of the Monkey?" Why is it that hippy types who want everyone to be themselves and be beautiful are the most dsperate to categorize people in clearly defined groups that can and can't get on. and worst of all, their reasoning is shambolic, based on absolutely nothing tangible.

They're all just buzzwords.
"Carbon Footprint" and "Fair Trade" do seem to epitomise the way that rich, important people try to make it look like they give a toss. Yes, we need to stop burning so much petrol, but the government aren't actually going to enforce that - they'll just shower it in fancy slogans and buzzwords to trick you into thinking they're doing something about it.

As for the hippy/astrology types...well, of course the world would be lovely if we all got on. But clearly lots of people don't get on, and there are lots of people I don't like. This is not due to me being a Leo and xyz being Aquarius or any shite like that; if I don't like someone, it's probably because they're a cunt.

I'm not sure
that you're right about 'fair trade' - at least according to en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fair_trade_impact_studies

@Ape
I will bow down to the superior wisdom of Wikipedia on this one, I was basing my rant on the comments of a friend of mine who works for Oxfam. She was working in South America a few years ago with people that were negatively affected by "fair trade" stuff, like being ripped off by Co-op for coffee beans and smaller single family producers who were being ignored by buyers because they coudln't produce enough to warrant the paperwork. But if things have improved since then, that's great.
