However
"Call me Tony" did his very very best to introduce a more 'Presidential' style of leadership, including the Wide Mouthed Frog being referred to as 'First Lady', himself being described as 'Head of State' on a few occasions, and when the grinning, lying, Bush felching spiv finishes arseing up the Middle East he'll be back.....

In the meantime old Cyclops Broon seems quite happy to make personal interventions in a Presidential style (Prisoner's Pay, anyone?) rather than delegating to the appropriate department.

I think that many people are in fact clever enough to realise that we live in what is still allegedly a Parliamentary Democracy, but voted for New Labour with TCB at the helm, and as such think that when Prudence took over the party it would have been 'fairer' to call a General Election as Blair had by his actions made a vote for Labour a vote for him.
