Don't get me wrong
I love the English language. It's one of the most diverse and vibrant languages spoken on the planet, which is awesome.

It's just all the people who speak it that get on me tits, mostly Americans who keep asking why no-one seems to be able to speak 'American'.

But spelling is the one subject that everyone jumps up and down on that irritates me, why should it matter that I dropped the 'u', no advantage is gained by it, nor is the meaning of the word changed. Get over it.
