can be easily avoided by practising point 4 a bit better- or just sit down and talk to them about their religion, why they believe in it, etc etc. I managed to bore a Mormon for 45 minutes before they told me, and I quote, to "go away, I've got more interesting people to talk to".
Then pretty much threw a Book of Mormon at me.

They don't want people to think about their religion, they just want the attention and the thought that their God(s) will see them putting in that bugger-all effort to convert the unbelievers.
