Since moving to Australia I've been amazed at just how moany and whiney so many Australians are. They whinge about the government doing this or that but can't even be arsed to vote (even though it's compulsory here and they *may* get fined). They whine about the possible introduction of daylight savings - "We'll never be able to get our kids to sleep!" Here's a newsflash numpties - kids in northern Europe/Scandinavia have managed to go to sleep at sensible times for millenia even though the sun can still be up at 11pm or never go down at all. They whine about "bloody immigrants", 98% of Australians are either immigrants or are descended from immigrants but a few generations back. Many say how great Australia is compared to the rest of the world ("We're God's country mate!") when their only experience of a foreign country is their cheap annual package holiday to the bombers' paradise that is Bali.

And that's just the start!
