What IS Emo?
I see a lot of talk about it, spoofs of it, moaning about it... but I've not yet heard any music that I know is "Emo". I look at the Wikipedia article, which has a lot of argument about just which bands are Emo or not, none of which I've heard of. The closest I've gotten is My Chemical Romance, which didn't sound particlarly whiny, and I was crapped on, on another forum for asking "are they Emo?"

I must have missed that meeting, because I just don't get it. Ask me to name whiny bands, I think of names like Radiohead, Placebo, and Muse, and no, I'm not for a second suggesting they are Emo.
