But then again the spanish don't exactly make any effort to integrate with us either.

Take for example, theres two irish pubs in the town i live in. One of the irish pubs is a fake irish pub, flogging overpriced crap and run by spanish people. Then you have a real irish pub, run by irish people selling proper guinness and its cheaper. Which one is the busiest? Yes the fake one because its spanish owned.

But aye I completely agree with the English pubs in spain. Especially in the tourist traps like Benidorm. I generally go for the spanish stuff where possible. But ive had visitors come over to stay and they want english food all the time.
