OK, obviously i wrote this totally wrong
because I didn't expect a reaction like this.

@Peregrin - Yes, I do, maybe I'm in the minority here then, but I have a bit of faith in people I suppose. If someone is reversing towards me, yeah i'll squirm and mutter under my breath, but i'm not going to interfere until they hit me, then i will definitely interfere...a bike is different though, i'm not in any danger being tapped at 5mph or so, you may well be.

@monkey - as above really, i don't expect them to know, just to have a little faith. we're not talking about merging lanes at 70 on the motorway here, we're talking about a 1mph creep backwards. Them beeping at me just feels excessive.

@blaireau69 - I don't have any need for the camera in most circumstances, if you'd read the post, you'd see that what it IS useful for is getting within inches of the car behind to make getting out of a space easier. The circumstances yesterday were I was at the tip, and it's not the best layout, always some guy in front who wants to unload his whole house into the crusher and takes 3 hours doing it, i have to get out somehow; it's at times like this a camera is really helpful, yeah i could get out without one, but it's so helpful for using all the room available to you.

Anyway hope that clears it up a little
