My sister-in-law was absolutely HORRIFIED when I told her we don't have a TV. (We do have a telly, what we don't have is any means of receiving television signals, ie aerials etc)
I have lost count of the amount of people that react with sheer horror when I say I don't watch television... "What do you DO??" they cry. Well, actually, we talk to each other. Play board games. Interact with the animals. Read books, ffs.

Oh, and play on the Wii!!
