I was watching it and am so glad someone agrees with my rage. Ok it is actually a couple of years old, so 2005/6 the CGI would have looked a lot more realistic but it's 2008 now, we can see the pixels ffs!

There were plenty of AS IF!! moments - like if they knew the wave was coming why hadn't they closed the Thames Barrier hours before it hit - they seemed to need to do everything "last second" to build the suspense - it just didn't work.

Also Nigel Planer cannot be anything other than Neil from the Young Ones so casting him in a serious role just is wrong.
