I don't think there's any real way to define what black music is either - I've never listened to 1Xtra, but I'm going to make the massive assumption that they don't play a lot of Diana Ross and the Supremes, Chuck Berry, Barry White, Ladysmith Black Mambazo, reggae or gospel music...
