This is a question Performance

Have you ever - voluntarily or otherwise - appeared in front of an audience? How badly did it go?

One thing led to another...
...and after ten years or so writing jokes, I decided that at the age for 45, it might be time to have a go at performing some of them.

So, I stood up in front of a tame audience, and absolutely petrified, I did some dreadfully under-rehearsed stand-up. It was, well, not bad at all. Clicky here, if you've got ten minutes to waste.

Then, I tried it again, and I was shit.

actual material was safe and ok for that performance but if you are going to use que cards make a point about it
tell them you need to use them because you spent to much time wankin as a kid or have naked ladys on them and say its better than looking at you lot then toss a couple in to the men and if you liked the chair that much just sit on it and not keep touching it up . every one will have there own way of reading the jokes and storeys and when you get more comfortable with audiences you will not need the cards until then flick one away and look there goes another job .

keep trying and above all enjoy it
