Pet Names
I once knew a cat called Lenin. It got diarrhea so they renamed it Trotsky. Tell us the name of your pet - but only if you've got an amusing or interesting reason for it. Tiddles need not apply.

A few odd ones...
We deal with rescue cats a lot, we foster them. The shelter has one heck of a hard time coming up with names, sometimes. The current resident is named B'Ellanah. She was found living rough in a field with her sister, who was named Naomi.
Our first cat, after he adopted us, we had to see what his personality was before we could name him. Unfortunately, by the time we had found out that he had very little personality, he would answer only to "Cat". So he became Catbert. Turns out he was a stray and had to be returned to his owner, who had named him "Kuma".
My kid brother owned two rats, Luther and Zwingly.
My mother used to have a dog named Nondescript White Mutt, called Nonny.
Edit: Forgot to mention: the dog before Nonny was a poodle named Humbug. So named, apparently, because she arrived near Christmas, and with her not yet being housebroken, we spent a lot of time looking at the soles of our feet and saying, "Bah! Humbug!"
