Phobias
What gives you the heebie-jeebies?
It's a bit strong to call this a phobia, but for me it's the thought of biting into a dry flannel. I've no idea why I'd ever want to or even get the opportunity to do so, seeing as I don't own one, but it makes my teeth hurt to think about it. *ewww*
Tell us what innocent things make you go pale, wobbly and send shivers down your spine.

First?
Oh, yes.
I'll see Chthonic's dry flannel and raise him: for me, it's wire wool - specifically, biting wire wool. Now, quite why I'd ever find myself in a situation in which I'd have that stuff anywhere near my mouth is beyond me... but, for some reason it's an image that occasionally pops into my mind. And it's one that gives me the horrors.

I understand
chthonic's flannel thing. Putting a dry towel into your mouth makes you heave.
Wire wool though, that's odd but not so heave-y.

Are you a mouse?
I've heard putting wire wool in a crack in your wall is a sure way of keeping mice from going through there. They take one bite, and get disgusted and leave. When I bought my first house, the shower stall was surrounded by the stuff.
