This is a question Phobias

What gives you the heebie-jeebies?

It's a bit strong to call this a phobia, but for me it's the thought of biting into a dry flannel. I've no idea why I'd ever want to or even get the opportunity to do so, seeing as I don't own one, but it makes my teeth hurt to think about it. *ewww*

Tell us what innocent things make you go pale, wobbly and send shivers down your spine.

Bananas
My friend has a massive phobia of bananas. As in cannot be in the same room as one, and if you chase her with one, she'll run away screaming. It's great fun!

But running from a banana? They're not exactly the most dangerous thing on this earth surely?

Has she seen....
And Now For Something Completely Different?

Maybe she thinks she'll get shot by John Cleese if she carries one....?

Bananas are horrible
And one step away from pineapple in my book.

Actually, I don't like any fruit, except apples. But in their natural state, not cooked. And not red ones either. I do like fresh orange juice as well. And processed grapes.

Oh, all right, wine.

It's a texture thing. *Eeeesh*.

Bananas=dangerous
I'd guess that a large bunch of bananas falling from the tree on to your head would be pretty sore.

Or if you suffer from hypermanganese then a banana could cause gastrointestinal bleeds?

@D'sG
Agreed on fruit.
I can eat dried fruit sometimes though.
And if it's in cakes.

^
I can't even do that. It all stems from when I were a lad and being forced to eat a fruit salad in the school dinner hall. They wouldn't let me leave until I had eaten it all up gone. Which I did. And promptly spewed the whole lot back up again.

Ironically I did this as I was walking past the teacher who'd made me eat the bloody stuff in the first place, so a kind of revenge was had. Even though at 5 years old I didn't really have any concept of revenge.

If Bananaman
wants to show you his banana-laser, then politely refuse and find a large crowd to hide in.
