The Police II
Enzyme asks: Have you ever been arrested? Been thrown down the stairs by the West Midlands Serious Crime Squad, with hi-LAR-ious consequences? Or maybe you're a member of the police force with chortlesome anecdotes about particularly stupid people you've encountered.
Do tell.

Police vs Two wheeled fun
Lets face it, as a rebel biker I am supposed to really dislike the Police. In truth, have you seen those guys ride their bikes? Just awesome. Stopped for a chat with a local Bike Copper just after passing my tests and got some good bike advice for free.
Then last month I was cruising down the motorway on my SV Streetfighter when I happen to notice a white BMW estate car baring down on me. Check Speeod and I am "making progress Officer"! Oops.
Pull over and lovely Policeman gives me a look that says disappointed but not angry. I gave them my most sincere Aunty Jayne smile and amazingly I just got a wagged finger and a don't do it again!

Call me cynical but ....
that's because you're Aunty Jayne. If you were Uncle Jim it would have been a different story.

95 on the motorway at a time when the road was almost empty
Just me, a few trucks and a coach. But I saw him in my mirror, changed lane and pulled in safely. It was clear that although I was fast, I was not being a dangerous to other road users. Just glad that I did not get a ticket, so if my winning smile works, so be it, as a big butch lesbian, I am not what you could describe as pretty!

Do talk to your local bike copper
They know loads and if you find a friendly one, they can talk bikes with passion too.
The guy I met was investigating a nasty accident that had killed a biker and he was happy to chat over a cuppa. He gave me some things to think about and I still use some of the tips he gave me.
Mind you, I met a right miserable cunt in Clevedon, seemed he did not like bikers very much, although he may have just had a bad shift.
