This is a question The Police II

Enzyme asks: Have you ever been arrested? Been thrown down the stairs by the West Midlands Serious Crime Squad, with hi-LAR-ious consequences? Or maybe you're a member of the police force with chortlesome anecdotes about particularly stupid people you've encountered.
Do tell.

Snooker Loopy
A bloke I know, lives in Plymouth and he only drives silver cars. When I asked him about his regular colour choice he said "there are no silver balls in snooker"

Aparently the local traffic police regularly play "snooker" where they pull over cars acording to the rules of snooker (red, colour, red, colour) Although it smaks of urban myth to me ;)

It's possible it's true

Plymouth is in Devon, right?

If it is true and they don't book silver or white.
Then the officers involved should be jailed, as they're obviously thick as shit for not getting those in somehow and, potentially, allowing the trend to be picked up by a DVLA database trawl.
I fthey worked in the other colors then a forced change of profession could see them employed as toilet cleaners* or soome such -- as they're obviously not complete morons.
*no offence if this is your occupation -- it may be mine soon. If it is though I think you'll agree that, whilst very important, it isn't the most pleasant of occupations either.

Apparently
They count silver as red, and have done for years, as it's so common.

Personally, I chose a red car so I could be 'potted' by as many burly policemen as possible
