Freddy Woo writes: "I once worked on an animation to help highlight the issues homeless people face in winter. The client was happy with the work, then a note came back that the ethnic mix of the characters were wrong. These were cartoon characters. They weren't meant to be ethnically anything, but we were forced to make one of them brown, at the cost of about 10k to the charity. This is how your donations are spent. Wisely as you can see."

*RANT WARNING*
(You've Been Warned)
With every day that passes, I realise yet again the extent to which political correctness has grown and become
a complete joke. The other day in school i was told off for saying turban in
case I "made the Muslim students feel unwelcome in our community". Now I'm sorry but that's just ridiculous.
I reckon that there would be under half as many racist people in
England if it weren't for the other half of England going over the top.
And the cherry on the
top of the proverbial cake is that a group of Asian people at our
school have just gone and beaten up several white lads in a completely unprovoked attack.
Then our entire country
has the nerve to call me a racist for complaining. Something has to change.
*deep breath*
Rant Over
OOOOOOOH!! *pop*
Edit: yes i know i just messed up the layout of the text, so no need to tell me in hundreds of angry replies =P

I absolutely hate anything "PC" - i.e. I call a spade a spade (and NO that is NOT a rascist statement)
If people decide to come and live in any country, they should make every effort to fit in - after all if they didn't like the country, why would they go there?
This may sound like a rascist view - but it's not meant to be taken in that way.
Among my friends are people from Italy, Poland, Japan, Pakistan and the West Indies - all of them are great people - who I'm sure would laugh at all this PC bollocks!

Don't get at me, it was the r-tard (gasp, i can't say that!!!) member of staff that said muslim
and that's another thing, people that emphasise political correctness in our society tend to be ignorant/lacking knowledge of our foreign friends

It's surely the motivation that matters? If they beat up some white lads BECAUSE they were white then fairy muff...

For pointing out that racism isn't just white people to non-white people, it isn't. Non-white people can be just as racist and offensive.

Fit in how? Within this country there is such a wide range of subcultures and beliefs anyway, surely there's nothing wrong with wanting to continue your culture here?
Also, I tend to be a bit leery about statements that need the qualification "Oh I have plenty of *insert ethnic minority here* friends".
