Political Correctness Gone Mad
Freddy Woo writes: "I once worked on an animation to help highlight the issues homeless people face in winter. The client was happy with the work, then a note came back that the ethnic mix of the characters were wrong. These were cartoon characters. They weren't meant to be ethnically anything, but we were forced to make one of them brown, at the cost of about 10k to the charity. This is how your donations are spent. Wisely as you can see."

back in the early 80's when I was at junior school, our teacher used to smoke a pipe in class.

Nobody
smokes pipes nowadays, which is a shame. They should get Wayne Rooney or Ant & Dec to promote them.

My Terrestrial Ecology teacher smokes a pipe.
It's a bendy, Sherlock Holmes-style* pipe, too.
*Yes, I know he actually smokes a straight pipe in the books. But that sine-shaped pipe has become so embedded in the public consciousness as Holmes' pipe that I reckoned people would instantly know what I meant.

Me too
I don't know what the fuck it has to do with the question like, but I hit upon the idea of smoking a proper old-man tobacco pipe and got myself one.
I had to send off to deepest darkest Wales for it on t'internet mind, but I got some nice flavoured baccy, and actually feel relaxed yet sporting while charring a couple of bowls when fishing.
I'm 27!
