Plenty of choice?
If you judged by the vegetarian options available when eating out, or indeed just simple stuff like getting a sandwich you'd think vegetarian people lived exclusively off of cheese, or possibly a combination of bitter vegetables boiled for 25 years.
Then again, if you travel to a major city you might get the option of falafels AND cheese too.

Indian
restaurants usually cater well for vegetarians. But I agree that the options otherwise are very much limited.
