Walking routes
Why not give your mum a subscription to www.walkingworld.com? Mine was 17.50 for a year - there's a few thousand walks in the UK, and a few hundred in Europe iirc - it includes printable sections of the OS maps, directions, and quite often photos too. I also got a 10% voucher for Cotswold outdoors - a new pair of boots and a decent jacket, and the discount will cover the subscription cost too.....
