I had to really...... It didn't occur to me at the time that he might actually get into trouble. I just wanted the argument to be over with. I got what I wanted, so I suppose there was no reason not to own up. At the time it just seemed like the most logical way to resolve the situation. Nowadays I'm not quite so impulsive.
