Protest!
Sit-ins. Walk-outs. Smashing up the headquarters of a major political party. Chaining yourself to the railings outside your local sweet shop because they changed Marathons to Snickers. How have you stuck it to The Man?

This exact thing happened to me!
In Peru, in Lima there was some sort of student protest. I didn't bat them out the way with my passport, but asked politely as possible if I may get past, and upon hearing my accent they exchanged a smirk with each other and parted like the Red Sea. I felt a twinge of British pride there.*
*DISCLAIMER:They probably moved because they equated British Tourist with Pansy, not because of the fierce intimidation brought about by being a member of the Empire.
