This is a question Public Transport Trauma

Completely Underwhelmed writes, "I was on a bus the other day when a man got on wearing shorts, over what looked like greeny grey leggings. Then the stench hit me. The 'leggings' were a mass of open wounds, crusted with greenish solidified pus that flaked off in bits as he moved."

What's the worst public transport experience you've ever had?

Ooo.
b3ta proper is back.

I've done all my transport stories, but I made a badge... feel free to recolour etc, it was a quick job. Um, yay?

I'm not clever enough to recolour
so I'll just nick it "as is".

Thank you

Isn't it great to be back?
(, Tue 3 Jun 2008, 19:09, closed)
Yes. Yes it is.
I wondered if anyone else had bothered and am scared by how much I missed b3ta when it was down!
(, Tue 3 Jun 2008, 19:12, closed)
I was scared too
Though, more so because I thought the Scientologists were scouring the site to see who precisely it was that has posted some not-nice things about TOm Cruise on here.

It is GOOD to be back!

WAS it a legitimate fire?

This one was made at the refugee camp:

Legitimate fire?
It was the bloody Texans. Your not far from Texas Citadel. Give em a good kicking from us.
(, Tue 3 Jun 2008, 19:16, closed)
@Citadel
it was - your side of the pond. Texans I believe. Fill in the blanks yourself ...
(, Tue 3 Jun 2008, 19:16, closed)
Texans?!
I have PEOPLE in Texas! I shall get to the bottom of this ASAFP!

They shall RUE the day I tell you! RUE!

[shakes fist in self-mocking display of impotent rage]

Gee thanks Citadel
I believe the link and relevant info was sent your way buddy!

And it wasn't my fault guys! I wasn't even in the area at the time of the fire. I swear!

granted I was a couple of hours from Houston a few days before the fire

Folks, the mystery is solved!
Flirting With Badgers hi-jacked a small crop dusting plane and set it down just inside the perimeter of the web hosting site, set a time-delayed fire bomb and exited the compound with the stealth of a cheetah!

Now if I can just figure out WHY...
(, Tue 3 Jun 2008, 19:44, closed)
Stolen for my profile
Thanks Maladicta. Nice one!
(, Tue 3 Jun 2008, 19:52, closed)
Damn! Who told?
Well, I guess I've been found out.

It was all about the crown badge. And they even let me keep the plane! Bonus!
(, Tue 3 Jun 2008, 19:55, closed)
Two badges
I've currently got the one posted by flirting with badgers in my profile. Perhaps the QOTW'ers should use Maladicta's to distinguish themselves from the boarders. If we agree to this, I'll switch images.
(, Tue 3 Jun 2008, 20:13, closed)
I've got Maladicta's version
and I'm sticking with it!

ie too lazy to change it - and I like it!

I thought FWB was a qotwer
Not that it matters. I may have both badges when I get round to pasting them.
(, Tue 3 Jun 2008, 20:40, closed)
Uh-oh
did I cause dissent in the ranks?
(, Tue 3 Jun 2008, 20:51, closed)
.
flirting with badgers's one was done by someone else. Perhaps "flirting with badgers" could be renamed "flirting with badges".

[EDIT:] FWB's one was done by EvilScary.

Flirting with badges, what laughs
There was a scary moment yesterday when I didn't think I was going to survive until I found the alterni-forum.
(, Tue 3 Jun 2008, 20:56, closed)
Now now
I never said I made it, I just said it was made over at the back-up b3ta. I couldn't remember who made it, so I didn't credit...sorry. I just put it up since Madame Mal said something about not knowing if any other badges had been made.
