This is a question Question of the Week suggestions

Each week we ask a question. The idea is to generate material that's:

* interesting to read, i.e. we won't get bored of reading the answers after about 10 of them
* not been asked on this site before
* fun to answer

What would you like to ask? (We've left this question open - so feel free to drop in ideas anytime.)

Things you wish you'd never said
We've all done it: blurted something out without thinking about it, and wished for the ground to swallow us up.

What have you said/done that you wish you could take back?

Oh yes. Bring this QOTW on
I can imagine popular responses along the lines of:

1) I do
2) I intend to vote New Labour, actually
3) But the Minstrels were funny!
4) I'm taking the missus to see "My Best Friend's Wedding"
5) Can we not discuss where our relationship is going right now?
6) You know I'm not sure that those hipsters are really "you"
7) I'm not going to take advantage of you in your delicate state. If you don't mind I'll kip on the floor/sofa.

And other greats, such as
1) Well, yes, your best friend is quite attractive.
2) Actually, my parents didn't like you
and
3) I quite liked "The Phantom Menace"

Actually, I did quite like The Phantom Menace...
at least, up to the end of the opening credits. Then it all went a bit tits.

*Hang on* tits are great. I need to rethink that statement...

Oops I wish I hadn't said that!
Around 1.30 in the morning I got a call from a mate in a drunk and distressed state. He had been forcibly ejected from a party after allegedly making an inappropriate remark to a girl in her early teens. He wanted to fight the guys who chucked him out and the whole world it seemed. Eventually I calmed him down and went back to sleep.

The next night at 2.00 in the morning the phone rang "Now what?" I thought. I picked the phone up and screamed "Fuck off and die!" Just as I was about to slam the receiver down I heard a voice "Its XYZ Security here there has been a break-in at your work, the police need you to attend and I don't like being told to fuck off and die!"

Ooops!
