Question of the Week suggestions
Each week we ask a question. The idea is to generate material that's:
* interesting to read, i.e. we won't get bored of reading the answers after about 10 of them
* not been asked on this site before
* fun to answer
What would you like to ask? (We've left this question open - so feel free to drop in ideas anytime.)

Greatest Deception
Years ago I 'Shopped a copy of an MOT certificate which I presented as legit to the local constabulary after being stopped. Despite feeling very guilty, I got away with it.
What's your greatest moment of successful deception?
(Any story involving "I do" doesn't count.)

This was
years ago, pre-Big-Brother-central-database days. I was driving home from work and got stopped as I was out late and was given a ticket produce relevant documents at the station. I was two weeks out-of-date with the MOT, thinking the MOT date was later than it was so took a risk but was bright enough to make the date "just in date" and because I had to get the car tested again so soon (within a couple of weeks) they accepted the copy.
Didn't like the feeling I got and I've never been close to doing it again either.
