Question of the Week suggestions
Each week we ask a question. The idea is to generate material that's:
* interesting to read, i.e. we won't get bored of reading the answers after about 10 of them
* not been asked on this site before
* fun to answer
What would you like to ask? (We've left this question open - so feel free to drop in ideas anytime.)

Built up by hype only to face total disappointment.
My ex's boss - a consultant hepatologist at the Birmingham Children's hospital - was asked to attend a charity function where the department would be presented with a comedy-sized cheque by Michael Elphick, AKA 80s TV's Boon, and they wanted her to accept it, for which she was frankly frothing at the gash with anticipation. Imagine her disappointment when Elphick had to cancel and instead she was pictured in the Birmingham Evening Post looking faux-pleased to have Danny La Rue smooching her cheek. What was your lifelong major disappointment?

My ex was the Nanny/Housekeeper for the consultant (D. was her first name initial)
We lived in the nanny flat for a year while I went out to work at the Erdington Maplins.
