Embarrassing moments.Golly what an embarrassing moment. The telly programme 'Blackadder' featured heavily in my life when I was a little Peg. For those not in the know this show features lots of jokes about prostitutes, especially Blackadder the second. Obviously as a little boy, I was unaware what a prostitute actually was, though if it was talked about in Blackadder I thought it must have been a grown up profession.
Cue my auntie asking me what I wanted to do when I grew up, to which I answered " I'm going to be a prostitute "
She asked me if I knew what that was, and since I replied in the negative, she mumbled something about " someone who does things for other people".
Sometimes I still bite my fist when the memory returns.
Still....... It's 5 bob to you, sir.
