Question of the Week suggestions
Each week we ask a question. The idea is to generate material that's:
* interesting to read, i.e. we won't get bored of reading the answers after about 10 of them
* not been asked on this site before
* fun to answer
What would you like to ask? (We've left this question open - so feel free to drop in ideas anytime.)

What's your compulsive disorder?
Mine is folding empty crisp packets into a neat little triangle EVERY FUCKING TIME.
Drives the misses up the wall, sometimes I have to stuff it in my pocket and do it later.
What is it that you can't avoid doing?

^this
Actually it is this. Sometimes I eschew the triangles and make tetrahedrons out of them just for the variation.

cupboard doors and drawers
have to be completely shut
drives me insane. I'm tempted to install auto closers on the chest of drawers Mrs V and I share because she must be the worst culprit of leaving them open in the world!

When I was a student
the whole house of use used to do this.
After we had a couple of hundred we would sit on the sofa and throw them at the wall unit scoring points for objects hit.
A friend even made a website about crisp packet triangles.

i have loads of these...
...mostly involving things that must be lined up or straight
such as, whenever i'm on the train to work, i have to straighten the little clips that hold the fold-down tables in place.i have to do it stealthily, so no one thinks i'm a mental.
and the knobs on my oven at home... the indicator line on each of them has to be pointing upwards - they must match!
and after reading in a previous qotw about someone who orientates all their paper money the same way round... i now do this.
i think i'm losing it.

Oh God!
OK:
DVDs and CDs must be straight. In Alphabetical order. Although sometimes I panic and rip them out and change them in to order by Genre. Or by Artist, and then by release date, in the CD's.
I always wrap my earphones around my iPod. The wires have to be prefectly straight. If I mess up, even a little bit, I have to start again.
There are many more. It hurts my brain!

Washing up...
doesn't matter where I am, Home, Friends, Neighbours etc..
If I see dishes in the sink - they get washed.
I don't enjoy it in the slightest but I just have to do it.
Hence me being invited over to so called friends houses a lot.

My flatmate thinks I'm a mental
DiT, I do exactly that with my ipod & headphones.
As well as many other things that could be construed as mental by 'normal' folk.

I also have an arriving at work routine
which utilises to the maximum the time it takes to boot up with the time it takes to get a coffee then, the time it takes to log on to the systems with the time it takes for a satisfactory dump.
I could go on.
Still, at least I don't feel the need to end each of my posts with...
Cheers

lol
Che that last point is a cracker ;)
Mine would be having to pee after taking a dump. Even if my body has nothing left to give. I will wait until more urine becomes available.
However knowing that in general people have some version of these obsessive disorders I try and go out my way to avoid getting into such habits.

Oh Gods...
I have so many of these. Among others:
- Alphabetizing things
- Organizing every computer I use into folders, sub folders, sub-sub folders...
- Cleaning the house.
- Making things equal... this is my biggest one. If I scratch one arm, I have to scratch the other.
And more ^^
