This yearmy mum has actually come up with a blinder of a present.
Both my auntie and my gran (different sides of the family) have been pestering us for photos for years. We're all digital now and can't be arsed printing the things out, we all have computers so we don't need to.
But my mum just had the brainwave of getting them digital photo frames - they'll be able to have all the photos they want :)
And it's the gift that keeps on giving! Every birthday or Christmas we can add a new load of photos for them! Hurrah!

Now that......is a blinder of an idea, not only do you give them what they actually want, but in a format that you actually agree with, AND all future Christmas presents are sorted and free!!

I'm getting my brother and sister-in-law the same thingPersonally I think they're hideously tacky, but they're 'photo people', there are photos everywhere in their house (I never really understood this)
So I suppose they'll like it...
I find it hard to buy for them as well, they don't really have any hobbies, they think buying original copies of CDs or DVDs is a waste of money, don't have much time to read,... what to do!
I'd rather not give them anything and instead take them out to dinner or cook them a great five-course meal instead of ending up giving them bath salts, incense or anything like that...
