![This is a question](/images/board_posticon.gif)
Each week we ask a question. The idea is to generate material that's:
* interesting to read, i.e. we won't get bored of reading the answers after about 10 of them
* not been asked on this site before
* fun to answer
What would you like to ask? (We've left this question open - so feel free to drop in ideas anytime.)

but didn't think it was Roald Dahl. I remember we had to write a monologue from the point of view of one of the characters in GCSE english.
I chose the victim.
I believe that she fed the leg of lamb to the investigating police officers or something...

it was indeed Roald Dahl, and it was called 'Lamb to the Slaughter'. It's in one of his short stories (for adults) collections. And yes, GCSE English alerted me to it, back in the day.
