This is a question Question of the Week suggestions

Each week we ask a question. The idea is to generate material that's:

* interesting to read, i.e. we won't get bored of reading the answers after about 10 of them
* not been asked on this site before
* fun to answer

What would you like to ask? (We've left this question open - so feel free to drop in ideas anytime.)

Slept through A riot
Download Festival 2006, All the ingerdients were there, Blistergly hot sun, No Glastonbury, Euro 2006, Thousands coming just to see The Progigy who were turned away due to the small stage arrangements. Campsite Security being a bunch of locally hired thugs. The Toilets-I'm a vetran of festival kludges, but tin sheds painted green over slit trenches, then exposed to baking hot sun and not emptied regualry.
It started on the Sunday night, We were near the back of the Main Arena "wathcing" the Guns and Roses tribute band led by the Ginger Diva himself. And the Fires started, Pizza boxes and fast food wrappers piled up and burnt, giving the place a cheery carnival atmosphere.
We made out way to our campsite (White I think) and sat drinking Beer, cos we is all old farts over 30. A couple of hours of drinking later we watch the glow in the sky as another campsite starts a low level blaze, punctauated by the artillery like sounds of Gas Cannisters being thown into the flames. This sound remines me of my days in 'Nam so it lulled me off to sleep.

Next morning I awoke to scene of Carnage. Did they shoot Max Max IV in the the Night? Did a freight place from East Mids airport pull a Lockerbie in the next feild?
NO?
A session of Football and Trbal Drumming had gotten out of hand and the Riot Police had been called (this was in the Fairground next to the main area, course we only found this out later when we arrived home to baths, toilets and internet acsess). After striking camp to get of our Campsite we had to pass, a burger van (overturned). The Main road which had tempoary lighting poles along it, the poles had been pulled down to prevent the fire engines reaching the numerous blazes. Grim faced secuity were doing their best to intimidate the happy campers in the light of day (after doing such a sterling job the night before).

This is all pieced together as I actually slept (allbeit fully clothed and sleeping bag unzipped in case of Maruading Emo's) through it.
