Question of the Week suggestions
Each week we ask a question. The idea is to generate material that's:
* interesting to read, i.e. we won't get bored of reading the answers after about 10 of them
* not been asked on this site before
* fun to answer
What would you like to ask? (We've left this question open - so feel free to drop in ideas anytime.)

On my first lesson
I avoided causing death and destruction, but my instructor told me of a girl he'd been teaching once. She put the car into first instead of reverse then stamped on the accelerator instead of the brake. She thundered across the road and, before he could do anything to stop it, smashed through a wall and stalled halfway across an old lady's garden.
