This is a question Question of the Week suggestions

Each week we ask a question. The idea is to generate material that's:

* interesting to read, i.e. we won't get bored of reading the answers after about 10 of them
* not been asked on this site before
* fun to answer

What would you like to ask? (We've left this question open - so feel free to drop in ideas anytime.)

Crafty Codgers
At a wedding, my elderly Nan took a drink order for about 12 people before giving my mum a five pound note to go and pay for it all, meaning my mum had to put in the rest

How have you been conned by the elderly?

YES- I have been conned by an old woman but I don't think many people have so therefore didn't make it as QOTW.

Anyways used to do a paper round in a very exclusive area of Reading called Caversham Heights. One old lady I used to deliver too, hinted to me that the leaves in her FUCKING HUGE front garden (size of average house) were giving her grief and her husband used to do it. She asked me if I could give her a hand for a fee, I agreeed and turned up one Saturday to do the job, having no experience in leaf collection didn't think it would take 8 hrs....anyways wanted to do a nice job cos felt bad her husband had died recently. Pleased with my job I went in to say goodbye. Now when young and foolish I used to think that the rich were generous, how wrong could I be. I struck my hand out for payment and in pops £1.

Don't trust them- they are evil!!
