Question of the Week suggestions
Each week we ask a question. The idea is to generate material that's:
* interesting to read, i.e. we won't get bored of reading the answers after about 10 of them
* not been asked on this site before
* fun to answer
What would you like to ask? (We've left this question open - so feel free to drop in ideas anytime.)

In the door mirror of my car
lives a spider. and has done for a few years. It spins a web from the mirror to the door and when I'm driving along, rather than retreat into the mirror, it hangs on and flaps about. I'm sure it enjoys the thrill of it.
Anybody else have any stories of vehicle-dwelling arachnids that enjoy an adrenlin rush? Perhaps you have a wood-scorpion that enjoys pot-holing in your exhaust manifold.

Funnily enough...
A couple of summers ago, I had a massive moth living in my car. It would hide away and keep still until we were cruising down the A1079, then it would start to fly around the windscreen and around my head. Nearly caused me to crash at least three times before I finally pulled over one day and swatted it out with a battered AA Road Atlas of the UK.
How's that! All 100% fact too.

I suppose we could open up the scope a little
to include other creepy crawlies.
I was on my way down the A1079, at a healthy 55mph or so (because there were no learer drivers in those fucking box lorries that seem to plague the roads nowadays) when a starling smacked the windscreen. The wife screamed and I actually ducked. The windscreen held though.
