I Quit!
Scaryduck writes, "I celebrated my last day on my paper round by giving everybody next door's paper, and the house at the end 16 copies of the Maidenhead Advertiser. And I kept the delivery bag. That certainly showed 'em."
What have you flounced out of? Did it have the impact you intended? What made you quit in the first place?

i was all set to quit my last relationship
but she got there first in the end, telling me i was immature, emotionally retarded and commitment-phobic.
i'm 20, we'd been dating a month, and i had expressed a slight dislike to her discussions of 'settling down' and moving in together.
hey ho, she was bad in bed anyway.
not really relevant, but this qotw's died a horrible death anyway.

"immature, emotionally retarded and commitment-phobic"
you have to pick at least one out of those three to be on b3ta. I chose commitment-phobic.

I'm finding it difficult to choose
so I'll need to go for all three.

I'll go for the first two,
and can I add a third of my own? Socially inept.

Got it.
I was slightly confused.
As it's off-topic Thursday, how's the job-search going?

As the thingy mabobby... Uhm, sig suggest, got an interview at 3pm, will be leaving in about an hour.
Otherwise it's going okayish. Signed up to a few agencies and I've been applying to alot of places. One of my dad's friends suggested trying to get on with a police call centre agency thingy, 'cause they're always looking for work. Will do that when I get back from my interview.

got any tips on how to stop your chin bleeding?
I've not cut myself more than 2ce the whole time I've been shaving, yet today I managed 3 times... Grr.
Now my chin just won't stop bleeding and I cut it like 40 mins ago.

Yep.
Get a teaspoon, heat it up in the oven, and then press it firmly to the bleeding areas.

She said that!!!
If I met a girl who was all those things - I would instantly fall in love.
Which means I would not be a commitment phobe.
And I would want to get a good job so I could support her and our children.
Which means I wouldn’t be immature
At least I will always be emotionally retarded. Although that may have something to do with all the pills I take at the weekend (comedowns are a bitch).
If I had a happy relationship and children I wouldn’t be able to do them pills
Im confused
I think you should of told her that she is making you that way because she is clearly a judgemental control freak..perhaps

It's okay, it's stopped now.
I'll be wearing a white shirt though, so I need to make sure I don't knock it.

I'll have immature
because growing up is overrated.
Emotionally retarded? Hmm....if that means throws hissy fits like a three year old...erm....only in private - to the world I am an emotional heavyweight - full ofshit gravitas.
Commitment-phobic? Erm...depends what I'm committing to I suppose....Nah, I couldn't be described as commitment-phobic - I've been married twice!
