Racist grandparents
It Came From Planet Aylia says: "My husband's mad Auntie Joan accused the man seven doors down of stealing her milk as he was the first black neighbour she had. She doesn't even get her milk delivered." Tell us about casual racism from oldies.
Thanks to Brayn Dedd who suggested this too

" I guess he just came from an era where people had these thoughts. "
Interesting idea. I think the reason this thread is causing more than usual amounts of consternation is that everybody knows that, in the current era, there are still a lot of people who have these thoughts but know they're not popular any more.
And this thread, as well as laughing at or just being mystified by the racism of older generations (as was the intention, I guess), is being used as a "safe" place to air those thoughts which can no longer be safely aired anywhere else (unless you're Melanie Phillips).

There are a lot less of us have these thoughts
than our grandparents though.
You're right though, I reckon.
I'm not a liberal namby pamby, but at best this is just a lot of repetition of jokes we used to tell at primary school. This does not make for a compelling read.

It was Black Man's Willy, when I was at school.
We wouldn't have known what wanking was.
