just yesterday
picked the twins up from nursery and began the long, freezing walk home in the sleet and bitterly cold wind.
suddenly, one of the parents pulled up in her car and offered the three of us a lift. i don't even know her name. her daughter is in the same class as my nephews, but we've never really spoken.
it doesn't seem much, but being able to get a couple of cold, tired 3-year-olds home in warmth and comfort meant a lot.

we can stuff them with sugary treats and leave the parents to deal with the consequences.
also, aunties have more energy and patience than mums, as we don't have to look after the children day and night

My now 8 year olds favourite present for last years birthday came from her unmarried aunt.

3 year olds need seats with a 5 point harness, not a booster seat. The woman could have been fined for each child and you are a terrible aunty. Oh well, at least you didn't eat the kids, you fat fuck.
