When were you last really scared?We'd been watching the Shining. We were staying in an old church building. In hindsight, taking the shortcut home after midnight, in the mist, through the old graveyard was a bad idea.
I'm not sure what started it, but suddenly all the hairs on my neck had gone up and I was crapping myself. It was almost as bad as when, after a few cups of coffee too many and buzzing on caffeine, I got freaked out by my own reflection in the toilets.

Not sure when I was last really scared but.....Stephen King's IT when it was a two part mini-series. I must have been 11 or 12 when I watched it. I'm still not good with horror films, but IT scared the bejesus out of me.
I used to be totally paranoid about there being an evil clown down every drain or toilet or sink that was going to drag me in and eat me and worse....
never did get round to watching the second half, when it is revealed to be a stupid, not-scary, spider creature (apparently)
