This is a question Crappy relationships

"Recently," Broken Arrow tells us, "The missus informed me that her brother was moving with us." What has your partner done that's convinced you the magic's gone? "Breathe" is not an answer.

I think this
weeks QOTW have been quite cathartic for some. One thing I have noticed is the use of bi-polar in a few posts, what happened to just good old fashioned craaaaaaazy!!

I think 'batshit mentalist' could become a new diagnosis - take the red pill!

(, Thu 28 Oct 2010, 11:31, closed)
Ha! yeah
It would definately stop people throwing in how mental they are, Im a batshit mentalist doesn't sound as cool..

It does seem that 'bipolar' is an excuse to hide behind
and that cannot be judged in any nagative way at all.
Of course everyuone else still thinks 'batshit mentalist'...

But are they self-diagnosed?
All the cool kids are bipolar now - Asperger's is so last year.

I hate being bipolar
It's brilliant
(, Thu 28 Oct 2010, 11:52, closed)
It's brilliant hating bi-polar?

(, Thu 28 Oct 2010, 11:54, closed)
it has its ups and downs

(, Thu 28 Oct 2010, 11:55, closed)

Is bi-polar the same as being frosty at both ends?

(, Thu 28 Oct 2010, 11:59, closed)
It's a polar bear that swings both ways...duh!

(, Thu 28 Oct 2010, 12:08, closed)
Yeah baby! Next time someone mentions they have bi-polar
I am gonna be thinking about a big, white, seal-killing, shaggy shagger who will take it all.
(, Thu 28 Oct 2010, 12:11, closed)
Haha!

Indeed Chickenlady
This is my point.

I know someone that confided in me that they thought they were bi-polar, when I asked them why, he said that he found it hard to connect and get on with people. Although I liked this guy, I knew the exact reason why this happened, he was one of those people that talks without listening, he was one of those people that knew a hell of a lot about a few specialist subjects and would routinley bore the shit out of people, it was just the art of a two way conversation he lacked..

Being a self-diagnosed bipolar makes you INTERESTING
So much easier to say it's the fault of an illness that you're dull.
I avoid these people and hang out only with the ones who have the meds to prove it.

It's madness gone politicly correct.
