clappers!so three fridays ago, i was backstage at the eric clapton gig at hampton court palace. i just happen to know his trumpet player especially well, and was chaperoning his 13 yr old son who was too young to be gigging alone.
it was pretty exciting, being about 3 metres away for signor clapton in the back garden of some georgian house, chatting to one of his guitarists and supping a duchy original (damn good beer). that was a funny evening.
