Rubbish Towns
I once went to Basildon. It was closed, I got chased by a bunch of knuckle-dragged yobs until I was lost in a maze of concrete alleyways and got food poisoning off pie. Tell us about the awful places you've visited or have your home.
Thanks to SpankyHanky for the suggestion

Morden
Apparently the Northern Line was meant to go further South, but when it got to Morden they just couldn't be arsed to build it any more.
Having lived there I can sympathise.

Morden is unreal, typical end of the line shithole
Like a prolapsed rectum dipped into a bucket of rancid kebab fat and dog ends, there sits a Southern extremity of the Northern Line.

I have been there once. It was at the height of summer this year.
And still it felt like it was overcast and raining. It wasn't even that the place felt dangerous - it was just that big ugly fucker of a building you see when you turn right out of the tube station had the ability to make *your entire life* as ashen and pallid as it was.
Also there was nowhere open to eat. On a Saturday. How the fuck is that even possible?

I worked in that building
It's even more depressing on the inside.

Ahhhh crown house
where the sadistic or inept (quite possibly both) monsters of Merton Cuntcil can peer down from their concrete behemoth and behold the one-way system whose obstruction to the progress of the driver trapped within sums up their very strategy towards all those who fall into their administrative realm.

To really despise Morden...
...you have to have fallen asleep pissed on the last tube and been woken up by the guard, whereupon you realise you're skint and it's a long walk back to Balham.
At least once a month for three bloody years...
