Scars with historyYou've all got scars: they're nature's little reminders not to be so damned stupid next time. My favourite is the 1/4" round hole in the back of my right hand, created when I was 7 by my best friend putting a manure-covered gardening fork "away".

i've got three circular scars on my right kneei got them when i was about 8.
we were playing football at school. i was in goal and i dived to save a ball. i was like a young peter bonetti.
unfortunately andrew bolton carried on sliding for the ball and put his boot studs into my leg.
