Scary NeighboursMy immediate neighbours are lovely. But the next house down from that? Crimminy biscuits - he's a 70 year old taxi driver who loves to tell me at length about the people he's put in hospital and how Soho is "run by Maltese ponces." How scary are your neighbours?

Five miles from Basildon, fifteen from Southend and soss-slinging South Woodham Ferrers...Surrounded for miles and miles by chavs. House is on a street corner, so all summer (and winter too, never would have happened in my day (1995)), between the hours of 6.30am and 11pm, the streets to the fore and aft of my house are filled with horrible children whose only method of communication is high-pitched screaming. Anyone know where I can get an air gun?
Scary because I can't believe that any parent would let their kid behave like that- and we all know how much Sovereign-smoking mothers of six love to be given family advice by a pretentious but obviously superior student. Still, I'm not the only b3tan round here, and it's got to be better than halls.
