Well yeah. Bt the point is that some teachers give off a signal that they are ripe for pranks etc. They all have the same power to wield, but kids pick up on when a teacher can't pull off the discipline. It's bloody horrible, not defending it at all, but it is definitely the case that kids punish teachers that don't set boundaries properly

All teachers know that children will sense weakness (and exploit it).
If you can't deal with this, you shouldn't be teaching.

I get the feeling that this sort of story is going to become commonplace, once all the Free Schools get going.
