This is a question School Projects

MostlySunny wibbles, "When I was 11 I got an A for my study of shark nets - mostly because I handed it in cut out in the shape of a shark."

Do people do projects that don't involve google-cut-paste any more? What fine tat have you glued together for teacher?

Volcano lairs are BRILLIANT!
When I was barely into double digits, any time I came across a large sheet of paper I loved nothing better than drawing a section plan of a volcano lair. The volcano would always be an island, so would have submarine and minisub docking facilities underwater, the "chimney" would house some kind of rocket or space shuttle, and the rest would be filled with a labyrinthine warren of control rooms, barracks, machine gun and missile posts etc.

Hang on a sec, there's a big pad of A1 paper sat right next to me now...

Do it!
And see if we can get an image challenge out of it - ludicrously aggressive technical drawings - space stations, volcano lairs, floating fortresses, mega-tanks etc.

I too did this a lot at school, but favoured mega-tanks which had internal runways and more guns than the US Navy.
